Mac Care
Tips for Storing, Saving, and More!
You’ve made an excellent choice by adding some Mirandaland magic to your event! Now, let’s make sure your macs stay in mint condition from drop-off to hands-on. Follow these simple tips and tricks because we care about your macs as much as you do!
Immediate Devouring: Enjoying on Day 1
Macarons, much like their flaky cousin the croissant, are best enjoyed fresh on day one. If you have room, we recommend chilling them in the fridge before your event. Be sure to take them out at least 15 minutes beforehand to allow them to come to room temperature for the perfect bite.
No fridge? No worries! Simply keep the macs in their airtight packaging until it’s time to serve. For our 12-packs, gently pop the sides of the packaging to remove the lid. Alternatively, for boxes with trays, carefully lift the trays from the box and cut the tape on the sides to remove the top.
Delayed Devouring: Within 2-3 Days
If you need to store your macs for a couple of days before your event, they’ll do just fine chilling in the fridge. In fact, we’ve had happy customers rave about their freshness after keeping them refrigerated for up to 5 days!
Planes, Trains, and Automobiles… or Just a Trip Next Door
Taking your macs on a little adventure? Keep them in their original packaging if they’re in a catering case. For shorter trips (a couple of hours), they’ll be perfectly fine at room temperature. For longer journeys, we recommend storing them in a portable cooler or lunchbox with an ice pack to ensure they stay fresh for your guests on the other end.
Extra Extra! Post-Event Mac Preservation
The event is over, the guests are satisfied, and—lucky you—there are a few leftover Mirandaland macs! This rare treat deserves proper care. If the macs came in a clear catering case, simply return them to their original packaging and chill them in the fridge.
If your macs arrived in a paper box, transfer them to an airtight container before refrigerating. Want to save them for even longer? Place the macs in an airtight container and freeze them for up to 2 months. When you’re ready to indulge, remove the desired amount and let them sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before serving.
